If you are looking into getting rid of any prescription drugs that you have, then today is your lucky day!
The Mill Valley Police Department will be taking part in the 22nd National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 30, 2022. From 10am- 2pm at the backlot of the MVPD, we will provide a cautious and convenient method to dispose of these items. It will be completely anonymous and no questions for identity will be asked. The medication can be left in its original container, or it can be removed from it; if it is being disposed with the original container, it is encouraged to remove any identifying information.
We will not accept injectables, syringes, and illicit substances. E-Cigarettes and Vaping Devices are allowed if the batteries are removed. If you’re unavailable to attend, feel free to come to the MVPD and drop off the items in a blue bin we have located in the lobby. You’re welcomed to come in Monday – Thursday 8 AM – 5 PM, or Friday 8 AM – 4 PM. We hope to see you and will be glad to help.
