Summer Reading Program 2023| Reading in Wonderland
Summer is almost here and so is our summer reading program, Reading in Wonderland! Reading logs (kids) and gameboards (teens) will be available starting June 9th and registration for individual events will open June 5th. See all our summer reading program events for kids here (most events do not require registration). And check the Middle School and High School tabs above for programs for grades 6-12.
Storytime is Moving to Old Mill Park!
Come join us outside with great songs, dancing and books! Sing & Stomp is on Tuesdays at 10:15am at Old Mill Park! Wednesday Storytime is Wednesdays, 10:15am at Old Mill Park. Pop-up Storytime is Fridays at 10:15am, alternating between Hauke and Boyle parks. We can not wait to see you!
Personalized Reading Lists
The PeRL program is back! Librarians will be in your classrooms soon to teach you everything you'll need to know about PeRLs! Done one before? Take our handy quiz to get great book suggestions now!
Kids in grades 4 and higher can get their own Personalized Reading List, or PeRL. Tell us about what you like to read, and what you don't, and Librarians will create a custom list of recommended books, just for you! Within a few days we will email you a list of five books that you can get through the Library, either in person or downloadable, and all for free.
Get Great Kids' Books
Order a Children's Book Pack to get ten (or more!) books hand-selected by Librarians, just for you. You don't even have to come inside the Library. Just click your favorite themes and we'll put together a pack of books you can pick up curbside or at the checkout desk.
You can get picture books, early readers or chapter books, and choose from topics like Natural World, Fantasy & Magical Creatures, Trucks & Trains, and Librarian Favorites. What a great way to discover new books for children!
