Mill Valley voters elect City Councilmembers to staggered terms on the City Council in November (LINK) of even-numbered years.

Candidates for City Council must be a resident within Mill Valley City Limits (LINK), at least 18 years of age, and a registered voter in the City of Mill Valley at the time nomination papers are issued.
